Golf Shafts 2023

Shaft changes can have a tremendous effect on your driver swing. Steel shafts tend to be heavier and can reduce club head speed, while graphite ones can speed it up significantly.

The Project X HZRDUS has been designed to flex at an upper point, giving players who suffer distance loss due to high, spinning shots the extra support they need. Furthermore, its Dual Torsional Design will increase stability upon impact.

VENTUS

The VENTUS line of shafts was designed to offer golfers of all swing speeds options for shaft selection. Constructed using cutting-edge materials and manufacturing technologies, these shafts feature multi-material bias core construction which maximizes MOI while simultaneously reducing twist at transition/impact/tightening dispersion/enhancing control - improving accuracy while simultaneously increasing clubhead speed.

VENTUS features an advanced multi-material core that sets it apart from conventional designs, featuring full-length 70 Ton carbon fiber with an energy transfer layer designed to optimize energy transfer and provide more stable shots with mid launch/low spin designs compatible with modern driver technologies.

As part of the manufacturing process, a special mandrel is utilized to apply each layer in certain locations on the shaft - this process is known as "clocking," and serves to balance materials as they're rolled, producing uniform shapes. Clocking requires many people and meticulous attention to detail as a laborious undertaking involving many steps and phases; additionally, each shaft is handcrafted using its own weaving pattern with special coating that ensures they bond perfectly together.

Each color offers different flex ratings to better accommodate player swing speeds and swing styles. Blues typically have mid-to-stiff flex ratings while Blacks and Reds provide stiffer shafts intended to handle higher swing speeds.

Each VENTUS shaft comes in multiple weight options. Finding your optimal weight can maximize swing speed and help you perform at your best.

Feel of the shaft is also an important consideration; an ideal shaft should provide stability and control without feeling rigid and harsh. Ventus shafts offer a softer feel than most options, making them suitable for players who prefer soft driver shafts.

Ventus TR is the newest member of their Ventus family and serves those players that prefer softer middle section feels but require stiffer tips. It provides slightly lower mid to low trajectory and spin than its Blue and Black siblings; both Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler use TR shafts - surely that speaks volumes!

AXIOM

Fujikura's Axiom shaft uses VeloCore Technology made popular by their Ventus metalwoods to bring similar performance improvements to irons. This innovative composite iron shaft provides ultimate consistency, stability, and unsurpassed workability so golfers can hit with confidence every shot they take.

The Axiom iron shaft is the product of years of innovation, research, and testing. Featuring a revolutionary three-parallel shaft length system that ensures consistent and precise performance throughout an iron set's trajectory, its unique layout and material placements are tailored specifically for each profile and deliver a consistent weight for a better feeling, more predictable results, and controlled trajectory. Furthermore, separate parallel portions enable minimal tip trimming, providing premium materials to be integrated further down its shaft.

Axiom graphite iron shafts come in multiple flexes from extra soft to stiff for any type of player, from extra-soft to stiff flex. Their lightweight construction combined with their advanced design and manufacturing processes makes the Axiom one of the top graphite iron shafts on the market, featuring custom ferrules and grips designed specifically to suit each head with a hosel that accepts a.370" taper shaft.

An axiom is a self-evident statement accepted without further proof. They can be found in mathematics, philosophy and other fields and serve to increase our understanding of how things operate and enrich our lives - for instance the idea that natural number addition is commutative has inspired numerous innovations within mathematics itself.

Fujikura first introduced their VeloCore technology with their Ventus and Ventus TR metalwoods, used by professional players such as Dustin Johnson. Since then, this shaft has become Fujikura's best seller, becoming popular on professional tours as well as after markets over four years - though at a high cost; an average Ventus or Ventus TR wood shaft typically costs $350 on average.

Fujikura engineers used their proprietary enso analytics to pinpoint how a golfer's swing affected the Axiom's design during transition and impact, leading them to optimize it with a new multi-material bias core that ensures superior stability through transition and impact for more consistent clubface contact and improved mishit performance resulting in increased distance and accuracy.

X-FLEX

This shaft utilizes technology to optimize both its flex and profile for your swing. It features an increasingly firmer bend from handle to center section and medium+ tip section with low ball spin promotion; these features give increased control and greater distance over golf ball; making this shaft an excellent choice for lower handicap golfers who wish to increase consistency of shots.

Finding a golf club shaft that aligns with your swing speed and tempo is essential to optimal performance, as this acts as a conduit between you and the ball. A stiff shaft may result in distance lost as well as inconsistent dispersion patterns; on the other hand, too soft of a shaft could result in poor control or inconsistent results.

There is a range of flexes available, and it is crucial that you select one that best matches your swing speed and tempo. A too stiff shaft may create too much spin, shortening carry distance. Conversely, too weak of a shaft could make it difficult for you to generate enough power during each swing.

As part of your game strategy, it is also helpful to tailor the flex of your shafts according to each club you use. For instance, regular-flex shafts tend to work best for drivers while an X-stiff flex may be necessary in wedges; furthermore, one with a higher launch angle often provides better results in this instance.

Kris McCormack, one of the cohosts on GOLF's Fully Equipped podcast and the Vice President of Tour and Education for True Spec, discussed how shaft flex designations vary by brand. Though not major differences exist between models, even seemingly minor variances may affect feel and performance of golf clubs.

Shaft flexes are determined by how powerful and fast your swing is, as well as how quickly the shaft rotates during each stroke. While historically most manufacturers used one flex to designate shaft flexibility, today there are models with multiple flexes within one profile to increase elasticity for wider range of swing speeds and tempos.

PROJECT X

Project X HZRDUS shafts have long been considered reliable choices for more aggressive swing styles, but with the introduction of Red CB Gen 4, their lineup has become slimmer while maintaining their signature low torque feel.

Tom (Thomas Mann) is an ideal child, so his parents (Peter Mackenzie and Caitlin Dulany) agree to let him host a house party to mark his 17th birthday. Unfortunately, Costa (Oliver Cooper) didn't get the message and tried inviting everyone from school; things quickly spiral out of control until police arrive at Tom's house to put an end to things.

Nima Nourizadeh has made several short films, but this feature film marks his debut into mainstream cinema. Shot over five weeks in Los Angeles with an estimated budget of US$12 million and featuring mostly new faces recruited via an open casting call, Mann and Cooper stand out among them with Miles Teller and Jesse Marco also making appearances.

The design of this shaft is just as striking, boasting a matte black base color with an eye-catching red HZRDUS wordmark graphic and silhouette "CB," as well as an understated "Counter Balanced" label near its tip. When installed correctly with label facing downwards your view of club head will remain uninterrupted by distractions or labels; furthermore like many modern shafts it features less busy finishes towards its tip to promote focus over ball.
