In 2019 Mizuno Golf has 2 main models in their Iron range, the JPX919 and the MP-18's. Each style has an iron in the line up to suit the low, mid and high handicap golfer and their individual needs. Whether that be the ultimate in playability and blade like features of the MP-18 & JPX919 Tour, or the irons with more help built into them the MP-18 MMC & JPX Hot Metal heads.

JPX919 Family:-

JPX919 Tour Features:-

Tour Performance with great precision and control in an even more compact head design than the 2017/18 standout tour iron from Mizuno. Very Stable for its size, the JPX919 Tour has tight distance patterns on off centre strikes. The softest feel yet in a Mizuno golf iron and the benchmark for elite level shotmakers, each iron is high density forged in Hiroshima Japan.

1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel - From a single billet of Japanese steel, each head is forged for that unmistakeable Mizuno feel

High Density Grain Flow Forged - concentrates the grain even more tightly in the steel for incredibly precise feedback

Tour Grind Top Edge - Narrowed to 4.7mm on the 7 iron to match the grinds commonly requested by tour players. Using CAD data this is a shrinkage of 10%

Stabiltiy Frame - To enhance stabilty and launch it is open in the heel portion. Without comprimising the vibration characteristics preferred by tour players

JPX919 Forged Features:-

Forged performance with performance ball speeds. This back milled iron is Mizuno's fastest ever forging according to measured ball speeds. The JPX919 Forged is MIzuno's most versatile iron with elevated feedback and trademark versatility. Delivering on every level this iron in the hands of a tour player seeking a distance eqauliser or an amatuer wanting to improve their game, then this is the iron for you in 2019.

A small addition of Boron makes a big difference - our steel billet is made 30% stronger with just a trace amount of Boron added. The extra strength allows for even more design possibilties in a forged head

High Density Grain Flow Forged - concentrates the grain even more tightly in the steel for incredibly precise feedback

Back Milled Face - CNC milled from the sole up. This forged iron has increased ball speeds culminating from a larger area of minimum face thickness. A deeper CG makes it easier for flighted mid to long irons due to this removal of weight

Stabiity Frame - Soft landing approach shots are achieved by an open heel section which creates enhanced stability, launch and flight apex

JPX919 Hot Metal Features:-

Balancing ball speed and landing Angle. The JPX919 Hot Metal is the bench mark in iron design. Incorporating a superior blend of launch speed and soft controllable landing angles. The fastest ball speeds created by any Mizuno iron comes from the use of a high strength chromoly coupled with seamless cup face construction

Chromoly 4140M - astonishing ball speeds and feel are created by this highly resilient material which allows for a new multi thickness face

Seamless Construction - A single piece of cupped geometry creates a suprising level of feedback when the ball speeds are very high

Re-engineered Sound Ribs - A satisfying sensation through impact is delivered by creating a specific vibration pattern developed to aid this

Stabiity Frame - Soft landing approach shots are achieved by an open heel section which creates enhanced stability, launch and flight apex

X30 Steel Wedges with Miled Grooves - These set matching wedges use of softer material which use tour precsion milled grooves and face for improved spin and control around the greens

MP-18 Family:-

MP-18 Features:-

The Craftsman's Muscle Back. The MP-18 is a throwback to Mizuno's past with their Yoro master craftsmen creating beautiful muscle-backs. Master clubmakers that honed their skills on the clubs of major champions, this set has most of their trates. Shorter blade lengths with cambered toplines combine with a steep progression into sharp, compact wedges.

Major Winning DNA - Short blade length and low heel profile influenced by a long list of major champions playing Mizuno irons

Ultra Thin Topline - A slim topline with an extra camber for further refinement.

Smaller Pitching Wedge - influenced by our Yoro master craftsmen these clubs have a sharper more refined blade length into the PW

Forged in our exclusive plant at Hiroshima Japan - for over 30 years Mizuno have had their grain forged heads made here. GFF from a single billet of 1025E steel for incredible feel and distance control

Flows Into Any MP-18 Split Set - With any custom fit build the MP-18, MP-18 SC and MP-18 MMC all blend seemlessly together to create a mixed set to satisfy any golfers needs

MP-18 SC Features:-

The Players Cavity Back - This sleek looking cavity back iron has been sensitivitly reworked into a compact design by the same craftsmen behind Mizuno's multiple major winning iron sets. By having a slighty wider and more cambered sole than the muscle back iron, the MP-18 Sc is more playable than its counter part in the MP family. But like the muscle back version it has the same thin topline and short blade lengths making it very much a tour ready iron.

Players Compact Profile - a fraction taller than the MP-18 blade combining with the Mizuno Yoro craftsmen's signature low heel design.

Ultra Thin Topline - at just 1mm thicker than the blade it also comes with an additional refining camber.

Smaller Pitching Wedge - Yoro master craftsmen have influenced the short irons to have a sharper, more refined blade length into the PW.

Forged in our exclusive plant at Hiroshima Japan - for over 30 years Mizuno have had their grain forged heads made here. GFF from a single billet of 1025E steel for incredible feel and distance control

MP-18 MMC Features:-

Multi Material Construction - Over a period of 3 years the Yoro craftsmen were able to develope a highly stable and forgiving iron which consisted of a multi metal construction. All this whilst satisfying the club having a sleek look at address. Even with both lightweight titanium and slightly heavier tungsten components sealed within its mild carbon steel 1025E body, the MMC manages to still maintain that "tour ready"  profile and size.

Multi Metal Stability Design - Using both lightweight titanium (8g) and heavier tungsten (20g) for suprising of centre performance.

Players Compact Profile - Similar in size to the MP-18 SC but with the added forgiveness of the multi-material construction.

Dual Metal Short Irons - The short irons are more workable by the absence of the tungsten weight in to toe
