SpeedFoam Air

Engineered to be 69% lighter than in previous models, the 3.5g weight saving has been redistributed elsewhere in the head to produce better launch conditions. The new formula provides a sweet sound and feel whilst also delivering fast flexible face.

Thin Wall Construction and Forged L-Face

In strategic locations the head is made upto 37.5% thinner with the new 8620 carbon steel construction. CG placement is therefore placed significantly lower. The new thin walled designed face is coupled with a responsive L-Face made up of 1.5mm forged 4140 steel to promote supreme flexibilty, fast ball speeds and distance. This without losing that premium forged feel.

Thru Slot Speed Pocket

This provides the flexibilty needed on the face to maintain ball speeds and distance even on low strikes.

Intelligent Sweet Spot

Compared to the original P790 the sweet spot has been icreased by 60%. Data analytics have been used to reposition the sweetspot lower in the face to naturally capture more shots providing more performance where it is needed most.

Tungsten Mass For Low CG

A new construction method was developed by Taylormade's engineers to thin out the body.This allowed for 31g of tungsten to be placed in the toe creating a massive amount of stability and forgiveness wrapped in a players package.
