The New Taylormade Golf SIM 2 Max Fairway

Following on from the success of the original SIM family taylormade has just launched its new 2021 metalwoods range the SIM 2. The lineup for the fairways consists of 3 models; SIM 2 Ti, SIM 2 Max and the SIM 2 Max-D.

Taylormade wanted to have the lowest CG and highest launching of any fairway by bringing back the V Steel sole and combining it SIM to give a high launch, low spin fairway. The 80g steel sole plate has had some of its mass moved further back making it more stable on off centre hits by reducing the gear effects.

A low CG and high MOI makes it even easier to launch high with incredible ball speeds due to the combined effects of the V Steel sole and Zatech Titanium with Twist Face

An updated V Steel™ design redistributes weight to enhance forgiveness without losing any of its low CG properties. V Steel's excellent turf interaction and versatility comes from its depressed heel and toe which minimize sole area.
