The New Taylormade Golf SIM 2 Ti Fairway

ULTRA LOW CG , EXPLOSIVE DISTANCE

Following on from the success of the original SIM family taylormade has just launched its new 2021 metalwoods range the SIM 2. The lineup for the fairways consists of 3 models; SIM 2 Ti, SIM 2 Max and the SIM 2 Max-D.

Taylormade wanted to have the lowest CG and highest launching of any fairway by bringing back the V Steel sole and combining it SIM to give a high launch, low spin fairway. The 80g steel sole plate has had some of its mass moved further back making it more stable on off centre hits by reducing the gear effects.

Eventhough the SIM 2 Ti head is 10cc smaller at around around 170cc making it workable for the better player, its low CG and high MOI makes it even easier to launch high with incredible ball speeds due to the combined effects of the V Steel sole and Zatech Titanium with Twist Face

V STEEL SOLE with ULTRA LOW CG

Mass from the heavy 80g V Steel™ sole has been redistributed for enhanced forgiveness while still improving turf interaction and versatility. A 170cc Tour-inspired shape maintains low CG properties for explosive distance, high launch and low spin.
