2019 marks another year of success for adidas Golf, with its athletes already clocking up multiple wins and many top 10 finishes on the PGA Tour alone.

Their 4 key assets being Dustin Johnson, Xander Shauffele, Jon Rahm and Sergio Garcia at least 4 wins between them already this season. With the exception of Sergio ranking them all inside the top 10 in the FEDEX CUP standings.

The adidas staff players have continued their on course success whilst wearing the latest styles of the tour360 family... the Tour360 XT model which comes in both both the (spiked) Tour360 XT and (spikeless version) Tour360 XT-SL.

The 2 main areas which adidas Golf have concentrated on as a result of many years of customer feed back are the traditional spiked and more modern spikeless shoe models.

For the traditional mens golf stylists adidas have the Tour360 XT, Adipower 4orged, adipure TP 2.0, CP Traxion.

adidas have also exelled in the spikeless market in recent years building on the success of their original adicross. The spikeless version of golf shoes came about so that golfers could wear a shoe out on the course and in the clubhouse without the need to change there footwear hence saving time. These styles tend to be based on adidas' more trendy styles of sport shoes like the Stan Smith etc.

adidas have re-designed the sole of the shoe to now have only 8 cleats instead of the original 10. This was done mainly as a way to save alittle weight in the shoe without compromising on grip. The Thintech EXP cleats perform well even in the wettest of conditions. To compliment the cleats adidas have also positioned x shaped lugs in the way of an X pattern on the sole.

This is where the adidas men's golf shoe gets its name from, the XT.

Late on in the summer adidas will be coming out with a limited edition of the shoe, called the Tour360 XT Parley. This is due for release in august.

Parley are an organisation that use upcycle waste plastics reclaimed from our oceans to make a thread which is used to make the upper of the shoe. Although adidas have teamed up with Parley to make the ultraboost running shoe, this is going to be a first when it comes to the golfing world. A top end shoe material made from environmentally friendly upcycled waste plastics taken from our oceans amd beaches.

In todays modern world of environmentally friendly concepts the consumers opinion counts, so adidas as a company have teamed up with Parley to become an industry leader in the golfing sphere.

adidas works with Parley for the Oceans to intercept plastic waste which is then transformed into thread used to make high-performance sportswear. The Tour360 XT Parley is built on the Tour360 XT eight-spike outsole with X-Traxion technology, that provides superior traction and stability.

The destinctly unique ocean blue and aqua green colourway utilises reclaimed and upcycled plastic waste which has been disgarded on and around our beeches and coastlines. That’s then incorporated as raw material into the synthetic upper of the footwear. This thread, spun from the upcycled plastic waste, makes up the entire upper of the shoe.
