Titleist TSR Drivers and Fairway Metals

The new Titleist TSR drivers and fairway metals are now available for the first time. They’ll be in play this week on the PGA Tour at the Travelers Championship.

The TSR line enables faster, longer, straighter drives with highly refined features that optimize impact. From the driver head design to the shafts and even the materials used, every facet has been considered, constructed, and optimized.

Flight

Designed to help you achieve faster, higher launch and more controllable ball speed for every shot, TSR Drivers offer a new way to hit a fairway. From the lightest, high-launching TSR1 to the most forgiving TSR2+ to TSR3’s advanced tuning features, there’s a TSR model for everyone.

The TSR2 and TSR3 drivers feature a new center of gravity (CG) that’s shifted slightly lower to increase ball speed for players seeking a more penetrating flight. They also feature a five-position adjustable CG track system to fine-tune performance for better players who want more workability and precision off the tee.

TSR3 has a face design that is different from its predecessor, leveraging a Speed Ring VFT face topology that offers more localized deflection to reward center face contact. It also features a refined SureFit Adjustable CG Track System that allows golfers to position that focused hitting zone where they want it and dial in the setup needed for maximum ball speed and performance.

This is one of Titleist’s most sophisticated face technologies. The Speed Ring Face features a thickened perimeter, with a thinner face at the center to create more localized face deflection. This means that it’s more forgiving, especially for off-centre strikes.

It also means that you can generate more consistent ball speeds on off-center hits thanks to a higher center of gravity and increased forgiveness. The TSR3 is also one of the only drivers to use a conical variable face thickness for optimal speed at the sweet spot.

Another face technology that’s used in the TSR driver is a multi-plateau VFT construction that layers the face internally to build inward CT across the entire face. This is an approach that works for players with a lot of off-centre strikes and low clubhead speeds.

But for golfers who are consistently hitting the center of the face and have a consistent swing speed, the Speed Ring VFT offers even more speed from that center point than it did with the TSR2 or TSR3. Plus, it’s more forgiving and more precise than Multi-plateau VFT because it rewards consistent center face contact.

Feel

Feel is a complex concept that encompasses how we react to sensory input, including touch, smell, taste and sound. Feel is important because it triggers emotions and memories. For example, a sensation that reminds us of a past event or a time of the year can trigger feelings of anger, fear, sadness or joy.

For the new TSR Metals, Titleist has focused on improving the feel of each club to help players achieve optimum performance. This is a result of implementing key feedback from tour professionals and other discerning players to deliver a product that instills confidence in each player.

The TSR2 driver has a multi-plateau VFT face that helps produce consistent ball speeds across the entire face. It also possesses two adjustable weights that can be set to help you cut spin and gain distance.

While the TSR2 was designed to help players hit longer shots, it was also made to be forgiving and easy to work off of the tee. It features a lower and deeper CG location which is said to be the lowest CG Titleist has ever crafted.

Taking this technology one step further, the TSR3 driver uses a conical variable face thickness to focus the maximum speed area into one central point, allowing the clubface to be optimized for the type of swing you have. It also has a refined SureFit Adjustable CG Track System that makes it easier to position the focused hitting zone where you want and fine tune your setup.

Another advanced feature of the TSR3 fairway metal is the CG, which has been positioned deeper, slightly lower and closer to face center to provide easy, high launch with plenty of forgiveness. It also features a new, easy-to-adjust five-position SureFit Adjustable CG Track System to fine tune performance and help players customize their ideal and exact setup.

The TSR2+ fairway wood is a great choice for all golfers looking to add length to their drives. Its lower CG and redesigned hosel position make it easy to hit longer and straighter than ever before. The redesigned hosel also allows for more accurate alignment and helps improve airflow over the head for faster clubhead speeds.

Form

When it comes to form, Titleist TSR Metals have a lot going for them. They exemplify the latest advancements in metalwood technology and offer options for all players looking to gain an advantage off the tee and on the course.

Using the same patented aerodynamics and face technology as the previous TSi drivers, TSR models aim to improve clubhead speed through refinements that increase MOI, reduce drag and boost launch angle. Among those is a 'boat tail' shape that houses the swing weight, moving one more element of drag off the sole and helping to concentrate the weight where it's most needed.

These drivers also feature a multi-plateau face built inward layer by layer to create consistent CT (Characteristic Time) across the entire face, which helps to optimize ball speeds throughout the face and enhance consistency when the golfer finds the center of the face. In addition, TSR2 and TSR3 feature a Speed Ring face that centers the maximum CT/COR relationship into the clubhead's sweet spot to help players find even more speed.

With the 'boat tail' shape concentrating the swing weight, TSR models also improve stability by reducing club head flex at impact. This also increases stowaway flexibility and allows the clubhead to be more forgiving on mishits, since it's less likely to deflect out of a player's hands.

The 'boat tail' shape also improves the sound of the clubhead, which is important for golfers who enjoy listening to their swing. The sound of a stomping driver is an enjoyable experience, especially when you're hitting it straighter and more often than not.

While some players are naturally better able to strike the ball with more confidence than others, the truth is that all players have had to deal with a few bad swings or a stutter in stance and form from time to time. A forgiving driver like a TSR can help you get back on track with your game and avoid losing momentum after a bad miss.

In addition to the 'boat tail' shape and the multi-plateau face design, TSR models also include a 'SureFit Adjustable CG Track System' that gives golfers more flexibility than ever with the added benefit of more control over spin conditions. This will allow you to find the ideal CG position and optimize your shot shape to match your playing style and preferences.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness, or the letting go of anger and resentment towards someone who has offended you, can be a powerful practice to release emotional tension and toxicity. It can also be beneficial for mental health. In one study, participants who practiced forgiveness showed a significant reduction in stress-related illnesses, including depression and anxiety.

While forgiveness may have different definitions across the world, it is often seen as an act of mercy. It can be a spiritual or moral act and can be related to religion, culture, and the moral code of the person who is forgiving.

The practice of forgiveness is often associated with religious beliefs and can have a positive impact on the person who is forgiving. For example, some people choose to forgive those who have harmed them or a loved one in order to show them mercy.

There is a growing body of research that shows how anger and resentment are linked to stress-related illnesses. Forgiveness can help to reduce these feelings and make room for more positive emotions, like love and peace.

A therapist can be helpful in this process, but you may want to try to do it yourself first. This can help you get a better understanding of how the practice works and whether it is right for you.

Forgiveness is a difficult concept to understand and can be hard to put into action. You may be reluctant to forgive if you are still hurting from the past or if you feel that it isn’t required. It’s important to know that you are not obligated to forgive, and if it doesn’t feel right for you, you should seek professional help.

The TSR line of drivers, as well as the new TSR Metals fairway woods, offer forgiveness through weight distribution and aerodynamic design. Each of the new models feature a deeper CG location and an improved 5-position SureFit Adjustable CG Track System. This allows the club to be adjusted to meet the needs of different types of players.
